At B&R African Styles, we take pride in delivering garments that reflect craftsmanship, culture, and elevated design. While we stand behind the quality of our products, we understand that returns may occasionally be necessary. This policy outlines the conditions under which returns, refunds, and exchanges may be granted.
This Refund & Returns Policy is incorporated into and governed by our Master Terms of Service. By purchasing from our website, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.
1. Return Window
Our return policy lasts Thirty (30) days from the date of confirmed delivery, as verified by carrier tracking.
If Thirty (30) days have passed since delivery, we unfortunately cannot offer a refund or exchange.
Return requests submitted outside this timeframe will be denied.
2. Return Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for a return:

The item must be unused, unworn, and unwashed

All original tags must be attached

The item must be in its original packaging

The item must be free of stains, odors, alterations, damage, or signs of wear

Proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation) is required
Items not in original condition, damaged for reasons not due to our error, or missing parts may be denied or subject to partial refund at our discretion.
All returns are subject to inspection and approval.
3. Restocking Fee
A 25% restocking fee will be applied to all approved non-defective returns.
The restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
Certain items may qualify for promotional Free Returns, where applicable and clearly stated at the time of purchase.
4. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are non-returnable and non-refundable:

Items marked “Final Sale”

Clearance or discounted merchandise designated as final sale

Sale items (regular-priced items only are eligible for refunds)

Hazardous materials, flammable liquids or gases
Final Sale items are non-refundable under all circumstances.
5. Partial Refunds (If Applicable)
Partial refunds may be granted in certain situations, including but not limited to:

Items returned with obvious signs of use

Items damaged or missing parts not due to our error

Items returned after 30 days (if accepted at our discretion)
Approval of partial refunds is at our sole discretion.

Unauthorized returns will not be processed or refunded.
Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the item was received defective or incorrect.
We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance for items valued over $75. We do not guarantee receipt of returned items.
Return shipping costs are non-refundable. If a refund is approved, return shipping may be deducted from the refund amount.
7. Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a defective or incorrect item, you must notify us within forty-eight (48) hours of delivery confirmation.
Your claim must include:

Failure to report within 48 hours may result in denial of the claim.

8. Refund Processing
Once your return is received and inspected, you will receive email notification confirming approval or rejection.

9. Exchanges
We replace items only if they are defective or damaged.
If you need to exchange for the same item, email us for instructions.
Due to limited inventory and exclusive collections, exchanges are not guaranteed. Customers may choose to place a new order and request a return for the original item if eligible.
10. Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return once the item is received and approved.
If the gift was not marked as such, the refund will be issued to the original purchaser.
11. International Returns
For international orders:

If a shipment is refused due to unpaid customs duties, associated costs may be deducted from the refund.

12. Limited Product Warranty
B&R African Styles provides a 30-day limited warranty from delivery for verified manufacturing defects.

13. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
We are committed to resolving concerns directly.
Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us to attempt resolution may constitute a violation of our Terms of Service.
In disputes, we reserve the right to submit:

Policy acceptance confirmation
We reserve the right to recover chargeback fees, administrative costs, and restrict future purchasing privileges where permitted by law.
14. Risk of Loss
Risk of loss transfers to the customer upon delivery to the shipping carrier. Carrier confirmation constitutes proof of fulfillment.
15. Shopify Checkout Enforceability
By completing checkout on our Shopify-powered website, you:
